Relatable writer feelings + Star Wars gifs
Oh yes.
I'm kidding, of course I talk first.
Let's go.
When you're just trying to reach your word count but what you're writing is terrible:
If you've ever attempted NaNoWriMo, you feel this. Just getting as many words down, thinking "I'll fix it later." Especially when it's the middle of the night. Because then you come back in the morning and find that one of the characters is now stuck in a tree and you're just like "what even" (true story).
When your sibling brings you soda whilst you are in the midst of a writing spree:

Or coffee, or tea, or your chosen beverage with caffeine. They are now your favorite sibling and will remain that way for at least two hours. Possibly three. Maybe longer.
(Okay, let's be real, this never happens... I just wanted to use the gif...)
When your villain decides to make trouble again:
Dude, give it a rest. We'll defeat you in a few more chapters. Just calm down.
When the Hero and the Love Interest do something cute:
Yes, my own characters are my OTP. Yes, I squeal when they act cute. I can't help it.
When your plot starts spiraling out of control:

Well. That was unexpected. Now your characters are totally off the outline and who knows where the heck this will go. Guess we're rolling with it.
When you successfully write a fantastic fight scene:
It's not easy to describe a fight between the Hero and their enemy. But every once in a while, you will write one blessed scene (often helped along by an awesome movie soundtrack) that plays out exactly how you imagined it. And a heavenly chorus seems to sing.
When said fight scene goes on for WAY longer than you intended:
Alright, Hero, kick his butt. Let's wrap this up, we have a world to save.
When you have to kill a character
Yes, we have a reputation for being heartless monsters. However, it really hurts me when I have to kill off one of my precious baby children (but, I can't deny the rush of giggles I get when I think of how much it will hurt the readers).
When you finally emerge victorious with a finished first draft:
Your brain is battered and bruised, your heart is in pieces, but you did it. The villain is defeated (or is he?) and your hero is victorious (and possibly missing a limb).
When you come back the next morning and survey your finished first draft:
*siiiiiiiiiigh* Oh well. On to the sequel.
So which Star Wars gif to you find #relatable? Let me know down below! *gestures vaguely at the comment section*
